Thrive Together: An Integrative Coaching Program for Neurodivergent Mother-Daughter Teams

This program is designed to support neurodivergent mom-and-daughter teams in building stronger, more connected relationships while empowering each individual to thrive in their unique way. The program nurtures understanding, communication, and shared growth by blending mindfulness, life coaching, collaborative tools, and personalized strategies through a neurodivergent lens.

Program Details

Duration: 1-3 Months
Frequency: Bi-weekly sessions (6 sessions over 3 months)
Session Length: 75-90 minutes (Flexible division between joint and individual sessions)

Program Goals:

  • Cultivate deeper mutual understanding of neurodivergence.

  • Develop collaborative tools and strategies for navigating daily life.

  • Cultivate emotional resilience as a team.

  • Nurture the Mind-Body-Soul connection from a neurodivergent lens. 

  • Empower individual growth while strengthening the mother-daughter bond.

Program Structure

  • Month 1: Foundations of Connection & Understanding

    Session 1:Discovering Strengths as a Team

    Joint exploration of neurodivergent traits, strengths, and challenges.

    • Identifying shared goals for the coaching journey.

    • Exploring Mind-Body Connection for ARFID

    • Mindfulness techniques tailored to Neurodivergent Brains

    Session 2:Creating a Supportive Foundation: Routines, Rituals, Emotional Regulation + Energy Management

    • Joint: Building routines and rituals that nurture connection. 

    • Individual: Designing personalized daily routines and rituals

    • Introduction to Emotional Regulation Tools + Energy Management

  • Month 2: Communication and Empowerment

    Session 3:Strengthening Emotional Resilience

    • Joint: Practical strategies for navigating emotional overwhelm together.

    • Individual: Identifying triggers and tools to manage emotional overwhelm

    • Understanding Emotions as Energy 

    • Exploring Mind-Body Connection for Emotional Regulation

    Session 4:Advocacy and Communication Skills

    • Joint: Collaborative brainstorming and optional role-playing for navigating family, professional, and social settings 

    • Individual: Practicing effective listening + communication around self-advocacy, boundaries, and asking for accommodations 

    • Exploring the Power of Language as a Collaborative Tool  

    • Resources for Boundaries + Language

  • Month 3: Integration and Forward Momentum

    Session 5:Integrating Habits and Strengthening the Bond

    • Joint: Reflecting on progress and celebrating wins.

    • Individual: Refining personalized strategies and tools.

    • Exploring shared and individual long-term goals.

    Session 6:Sustaining Growth and Connection

    • Joint: Creating a shared plan for ongoing communication and support.

    • Individual: Creating a long-term self-care and growth plan

    • Resources and connections for ongoing support

    • Closing mindfulness practice to honor the journey together.

Program Includes:

  • Joint & individual coaching sessions (weekly or bi-weekly)

  • Flexible division between joint and individual sessions. Example: 45-minute joint session, followed by a 45-minute individual session for a total of 90 minutes. 

  • Tailored resources for both Jill and Allie.

  • Optional: Recorded guided meditations and mindfulness practices.

  • Email support between sessions.

  • Recommended resources such as books, apps, communities, and articles.
